Indspire’s A Feast in the Forest Showcases Indigenous Talent to Support Indigenous Students

TORONTO, ON – Sold-out A Feast in the Forest fundraising event hosted by Indspire delights attendees with an evening of enlightening moments and incredible entertainment featuring some of Canada’s premier Indigenous performers, including Buffy Sainte-Marie, Jeremy Dutcher, and Cris Derksen.

Set in Toronto’s beautiful Don Valley at the sustainable Evergreen Brick Works, guests experienced a four-course meal created by Chef David Wolfman, with six hundred guests in attendance and over one million dollars raised. “The overwhelming success of Feast in the Forest illuminates the groundswell of support for Indigenous learners across Canada,” said Indspire President and CEO Mike DeGagné. “When we work together to support Indigenous education and youth, the country grows stronger – thank you to all our supporters and attendees for an unforgettable night.”

Special guest Indspire Youth Laureate Tracie Léost expressed, “This amazing outpouring of support has been tremendous. I am excited and honoured to have been a part of Feast in the Forest – thank you to Indspire and everyone who made this special night a success!”
