Support Indigenous students through a number of giving opportunities
Donate Airline Points
Indspire is thrilled to be a participating charity with the Aeroplan: Beyond Miles program. Canadians that donate their Aeroplan points to Indspire are helping First Nations, Inuit and Métis students get the education they need to reach their full potential. Donate your Aeroplan Miles here!
Cryptocurrency Donation
By definition, cryptocurrency is a digital currency in which transactions are verified and records are maintained by a decentralized system using cryptography. Donating with cryptocurrencies has become increasingly popular. Millions of Canadians own cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ether. Donations processed are secure transactions and donors receive a tax-receipt for a cryptocurrency donation. Currently, CanadaHelps is accepting Bitcoin and Ether as donations for Indspire.

Donor Advised Fund Gifts
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are one of the most convenient ways to support a charity you care about while maintaining flexibility. A DAF is like a personal charitable savings account. It allows you to make charitable contributions into your specific Fund account, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants over time to your favourite charities – like Indspire.

Annuities
A charitable gift annuity is purchased, which allows you to receive a guaranteed annual income for life and it gives you the opportunity to support Indspire at the same time.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
Your gift of cash or other property can be used to establish a charitable remainder trust. You receive the income from the trust, according to the terms set out when it was established and a tax receipt for the remainder. Indspire receives whatever remains in the trust after your death.
RRSP’s and RRIFs
You can name Indspire as a direct beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF, or Canada Pension assets and receive tax benefits as a result. This type of gift will transform potential tax liabilities in your final tax return into a gift to support Indspire.
Gift of Life Insurance
There are two main ways to give a gift of life insurance: you can name Indspire as the beneficiary of an existing policy or you can purchase a policy and name Indspire as the owner and beneficiary of the policy. This type of gift allows you to make a sizable gift with only small annual or monthly payments. In addition, there is a tax relief.
Gifts of Residual Interest
A residual interest gift is an arrangement where you irrevocably give real estate or personal property to Indspire while retaining the right to use the property for your life or for a term of years.
