Presented by Mona Tolley

In her 20+ years work in education; as a teacher, curriculum developer, process designer, and advisor, Mona will speak about her lived experience as a method of sharing lessons learned. She developed a “Two-Handed Teaching Approach” to support and guide the process of Decolonizing and Indigenizing education. She will bring listeners through her experiences in doing this work; from discussing what decolonizing and Indigenizing education is about, to strategies that may help support the processes, and guiding principles to keep in mind.
