Join the Land-Based Learning Lead and the Anishinaabemowin Revitalization Coordinator from Lakehead Public Schools in Thunder Bay, Ontario, in this interactive, hands-on workshop that will explore how these two educators have connected land with language, culture, community and science and technology! From waabooz (rabbit) snaring to fish skin tanning, pH explorations and manoomin (wild rice) chemistry, educators will learn how to connect land-based activities with their science curriculum. Educators will leave with online lesson plans that they can implement in their classrooms right away.
