Current seminar offerings

Each seminar is 2.5 hours long and consists of a 20-minute video and a lesson plan of activities in a specific career field.

Careers in Mining

An online teacher resource and interactive student curriculum that offers high school students an engaging way to learn about careers in mining. This resource contains all the information you need to deliver this seminar in class, including materials for you to print and provide to students. Careers in Oil and Gas

Offered in British Columbia and Alberta through December 2016
This fast-paced interactive workshop presents five careers in the oil and gas industry: geophysicist, mineral process engineer, safety manager, power engineer and heavy duty mechanic. It also addresses three particular career development goals: career exploration, development of interpersonal skills; and development of self-concept.
