With support from generous Canadians, Indspire educates, connects and invests in Indigenous peoples so they can achieve their highest potential. Through the Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards program, Indspire provides financial support so Indigenous students can complete their post-secondary education.
We support students like Tracie Léost, who is in her third year in the Indigenous Social Work Program at the University of Regina, working towards being a social worker working with Indigenous youth and communities. Tracie is also an Indspire Award Laureate, receiving the Youth Award earlier this year. Watch the below video to learn more about Tracie.
Students who receive scholarship and bursary support from Indspire, like Tracie, consistently tell us how much receiving donor support means to them. It shows that people believe in them, it allows them to focus on their studies, and have time to be giving back to their communities.
And having students be able to give back not only transforms individuals in communities – but the students themselves. Here’s Tracie providing an emotional story of a connection made possible thanks to Indspire donors, that changed more than just her life.
Celebrate Giving Tuesday by supporting Indspire and help provide students like Tracie with the support they need to achieve their greatest potential and to inspire other Indigenous youth to do the same. Successful futures are created through hard work, creativity, and perseverance. Each one of us has a unique potential to achieve, and for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students, Indspire is here to help make that happen. Help empower Indigenous youth today!
