Participants are guided through the process of understanding the historical significance of Indigenous people and how the historical piece must be understood prior to moving forward. Participants will be given concrete examples of how to embed Indigenous worldviews and First Peoples Principle of Learning; increase the awareness of leaders on how they can provide leadership to educators on how to embed Indigenous worldviews in a meaningful way; increase confidence to allow the various entry-points of Indigenous education to be valued and respected; and increase the readiness of educators to apply the above three outcomes.
